What Is the PRC Schedule of Exam 2026?

The PRC schedule of exam 2026 is the official calendar of licensure examinations that the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) set for the year. Leris PRC posted it on 17 November 2025 as Resolution No. 2113, series of 2025. It covers 88 examinations across 12 months, from January to December. For each exam, the schedule gives four things: the exam dates, the filing opening, the filing deadline and the target date for releasing results.

What Is the PRC Schedule of Exam 2026

Each Professional Regulatory Board runs the exam for its own profession, so teachers, nurses, engineers, accountants and many others each have their own dates. As of 27 October 2026, 70 exams are done and 18 remain, starting with Veterinarians on 4 to 6 November. PRC can change a date or testing centre by a later resolution, so always confirm your PRC Schedule of Exam 2026 on prc.gov.ph before you file.

Where to Find the Official PRC Exam Schedule 2026?

The official PRC Schedule of Exam 2026b is on prc.gov.ph, on the page titled Schedule of Licensure Examinations for the Year 2026. For each one it gives the exam dates, filing opening, filing deadline and target results date.

Important PRC Board Exam Dates and Rules 2026

Three dates matter for every exam: the exam date, the filing deadline and the target results date. The filing deadline is the last day PRC accepts applications and documents.

PRC’s resolution sets three rules:

  • Weekend or holiday deadlines: If the deadline falls on a weekend or a regular or special holiday, it moves automatically to the next working day.
  • Extension requests: A request must reach the Licensure Office at least 15 days before the deadline. Otherwise the deadline is final.
  • Late applications: PRC accepts none after the deadline, except in the justifiable cases covered by Resolution No. 2092, series of 2025.

File early. A weekend shift or a full testing centre can cost you a sitting.

What is the LET Exam Schedule 2026?

The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) was held on 15 March and 20 September 2026. March filing ran from 3 December 2025 to 3 February 2026. September filing ran from 22 May to 23 July 2026. The target results date for the September exam is 27 November 2026.

What is the Nursing Board Exam Schedule 2026?

Nursing exams were held in February and August 2026. The first was on 26 to 27 February. The second was set for 29 to 30 August, with filing from 15 May to 15 July 2026.

Weather moved some centres in the second exam. Region III moved to 11 to 12 September, and day 2 in Metro Manila moved to 12 September. Your Notice of Admission (NOA), the document PRC gives you after it accepts your filing, shows your centre, room and date.

Has PRC changed any 2026 exam dates or testing centres?

Yes. PRC changed some dates and centres by later resolutions, mostly because of weather.

Has PRC released the schedule for 2027?

Not as of 27 October 2026. PRC had not posted a 2027 PRC Schedule of Exam 2026. Any exact 2027 date you see online is a guess, not a PRC announcement. Watch the PRC issuances page for the 2027 resolution, and do not book travel until PRC publishes it.

How Often Is Each Board Exam Held Per Year?

It varies by profession. Teachers, nurses, physicians, civil engineers, pharmacists and accountants had two sittings in 2026, and so did several smaller exams, such as Midwives and Dentists. Others sit once a year. The tables above show every remaining sitting, and the full matrix on prc.gov.ph shows your profession’s schedule.

How do you file for a PRC board exam?

File only through LERIS. Follow these steps:

  • Create a LERIS account at online.prc.gov.ph with your correct name and birth date.
  • Open the Examination section and choose your profession, exam date and testing centre.
  • Upload clear scans of your documents.
  • Pay the fee shown in LERIS. Fees vary by exam.
  • Book an appointment at a PRC Regional Office or offsite service centre.
  • Bring your printed Application Form and original documents to the appointment.
  • Keep your NOA, which shows your exam, centre and room.

If the deadline has passed, LERIS will not accept a filing for that sitting.

How do you file for a PRC board exam?
PRC Board Exam Requirements

PRC Board Exam Requirements

Requirements differ by board, so check your board’s list on prc.gov.ph. In general, prepare:

  • The Application Form generated by LERIS
  • Two passport-size photos with a white background and name tag
  • Your transcript of records (TOR)
  • A birth certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
  • A PSA marriage certificate, for married female applicants
  • Board-specific documents, such as a diploma or internship certificate, if asked
  • A valid government-issued ID, plus originals and clear copies of everything

How to Plan for PRC Exams?

Start from the filing deadline and work backward. Gather your documents, book your appointment and pay your fee well before the deadline. Then set your review plan from the exam date, giving more time to subjects with greater weight. Book travel early if your testing centre is far away.

How to Plan for PRC Exams

What are the Special Professional Licensure Examinations for Filipinos abroad?

The Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) are for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). PRC does not set them in the main matrix. Resolution No. 2113 says the SPLE schedule and special testing centres are announced in later issuances. The 2026 round was held on 28 to 30 May in the Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. Watch PRC’s announcements for the next round.

How do you avoid scams?

PRC Schedule of Exam 2026 and results are free on prc.gov.ph. Never pay anyone who claims to sell a slot or a list of passers. Do not trust a date from a chat group, video title or copied post alone. If a post has no PRC link and no resolution number, treat it as unconfirmed.

Is the PRC open on Saturdays?

Not as a general rule. PRC Regional Offices list Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except holidays, though some offsite centres keep different hours. Check your own office on prc.gov.ph before you plan a Saturday visit.

Which PRC Exams Have the Lowest Passing Rates?

PRC does not publish a list of the hardest exams, and passing rates change each cycle with the examinees who sat. Check PRC’s results posts for your exam across two or three cycles, and use that pattern to plan your review time.

Where to Check Official PRC Updates?

Check prc.gov.ph first, starting with the Schedule of Licensure Examinations page and the issuances page. You can also follow PRC’s Facebook page and PRC_main on X. Check again after any storm or public advisory, because dates and centres can move.
